Curryaki Noodles
This fusion dish combines teriyaki sauce and curry for a wonderful sweet and salty combination that is sure to please! This unique culinary creation merges the bold flavors of teriyaki sauce with the aromatic essence of curry for a delectable blend of sweet and salty notes that is guaranteed to delight the senses.
Embrace boldness and infuse your chosen protein and vegetables. Tofu, beef, chicken, shrimp, or pork all complement this dish perfectly.
Ingredients
Sauce
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tbsp rice wine
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp diced fresh ginger
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Stir Fry
- 200g rice vermicelli noodles
- 500g protein (ground beef, chicken, etc.)
- 1/2 large onion, chopped
- 300g mixed vegetables
- 2 tsp SPICEFIEND Curry Flavoured Spice Melange
- 1 tbsp green onions/chives, for garnish
- 1 tsp sriricha, or to taste
Instructions
- Chop and mix sauce ingredients in a bowl
- Transfer sauce ingredients to a small saucepan, and bring to boil
- Simmer for about 4 minutes, then remove from heat
- Bring water to boil, and boil rice vermicelli for 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Cook protein in large saucepan (using oil if necessary). Remove and set aside in bowl for later.
- Cook onions in oil, until softened and translucent.
- Add vegetables and stir fry until tender
- Add sauce and protein, cook for 5 minutes or until sauce is thickened
- Add noodles and mix until sauce coats the noodles fully.
- Add green onions as garnish, sprinkle SPICEFIEND Curry Spice Melange and sriracha on top.
